Flying High in Norfolk!

There you are, on the beach and you are not ten years old anymore.

Making sandcastles at your age is well, not really cool. You want to show your unclothed manly British prowess, but come on it's a little cold here and your pecs won.t like the wind.

So what to do to make the heart pump faster and impress the chicks? Get a KITE!

And more than that, get a kite and come and fly it in Norfolk! Norfolk beaches are gloriously long, sandy, flat and breezy. They are ideal for flying. Anything.

(Just ask the RAF, they have been using the skies over Norfolk for years).

Brancaster beach (pictured) is superb. Miles of unspoiled, clean coastline stretch out into the distance amidst the peace and quiet of the surrounding dunes. This beach is a must for you and your kite.

Then there is Wells-next-the-Sea. More people here, but the beach runs on for miles, and has a little 'island' further out to sea.

(But watch those tides - they can be quite dangerous!)

So come on, don't put it off - you know you want to buy a kite, and there are loads to chose from. And when you've got it, remember that there is no better place to practise in than Norfolk!
